Are you an experienced, motivated stylist or barber with leadership experience and a passion for working with kids? Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids – Woodbury is looking for a Salon Manager to help launch and lead our brand-new salon. As a premier provider of kid haircuts, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids brings fun, excitement and expertise to the industry. Compensation: $40-50/hr (including tips + commissions)
$3,000 Sign-On Bonus
Full Client Books from Day One!
Retail Commission: 20%

🎯 Your Role as Salon Manager:

Oversee daily salon operations with a positive, hands-on approach
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of stylists
Create a welcoming, energetic, and fun atmosphere for kids and families
Ensure exceptional service standards and client satisfaction
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
Monitor scheduling, inventory, and salon cleanliness
Manage client check-ins/outs and POS system use
Run team contests, celebrate wins, and maintain morale
Ensure all safety, hygiene, and licensing standards are followed

📋 What We’re Looking For:

Valid Minnesota Cosmetology or Barber License
2+ years of experience behind the chair- preferred
1+ year of leadership or management experience preferred
Passion for working with children in a fun environment
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to inspire, coach, and lead a team
Weekend availability required
